D's chambray

This past weekend west coast FLAN found ourselves in the east coast, in New York and Jersey City with our east coast FLANs. My four days there flew by in a blur of food and drinks and before we knew it, it was time to go home. The flight home is always bittersweet after a great trip, and this was indeed, a great trip.

I wore my remix item on our last day in NYC. The morning was sunny, with possibility of showers, and anticipating a five hour flight home, I layered a chambray shirt over a long maxi dress. Maxi dresses are easily dressed up or down, and while sitting on a plane, feels amazingly like a soft blanket :)  I added a sock bun and my favorite elephant earrings, a few bangles and a brown beaded necklace (which has probably seen better times) to complete the look.
