Hawaii 2013 - Top of Koko Head Crater

rumor on the street is that Emerald is the color of the year.  i might be biased, since i'm a May baby, but in any case, i love love the bright jewel green color!

i just got back from a 5 day vacation in Hawai'i.  this was my first time there and we explored the island of O'ahu.  there were delicious foods, beautiful sunsets, relaxing beaches, and we brought back more chocolate macadamia treats than we did clothes.  i already can't wait til my next trip!

i wore this to hike Koko head, probably not the most ideal choice, but at the same time, i didn't want to walk around in running shorts all day. fashion problems.  emerald at the top of Koko head looks good.   at least i kept it fuss free, and let the accessories at home.  it would've bugged the heck out of me to have bracelets and necklaces against my skin in this heat.
